Meet the Team

We are Tre and Jason Watson, a husband-and-wife team passionate about creating spaces where people come together, connect, and celebrate life’s special moments. As long-time residents of Long Beach, we wanted to design a venue that reflects the vibrant, creative, and diverse spirit of our city.

Our journey began by opening up our own home for intimate gatherings, workshops, and special events. Over time, our reputation grew as a go-to location for brands, nonprofits, and creatives looking for a warm and modern backdrop for their productions, meetings, and celebrations. This experience taught us the importance of thoughtful design, flexibility, and attention to detail—principles that are at the heart of Events On Pine.

  • Yes, we are an “OPEN venue. You are welcome to the use of our inventory (tables and chairs), the rest is on you!

    The vendor must be approved by EVENTS ON PINE fourteen (14) days prior to the event date.

    All vendors performing work on the premises must have liability insurance.

    Caterers must be have a California Food Safety Certification.

    All bartenders must be certified by the California RBS and The bartender must be chosen from our Preferred Vendor List.

  • Professional Day of Coordinators are REQUIRED for Weddings.

    You can choose to hire you own professional day of coordinator, or use our in house coordinator for a fee.

    We will need notification of who you use 4 weeks before the event. We ask that you use a professional coordinator, who is not also a guest at the wedding. Family members although they are wonderful will not be approved.

  • Events On Pine has an approved Entertainment Permit with the City of Long Beach. Noise Ordinance Requirements Apply. Please inquire for details.

  • The Alcohol policy is as follows:

    1. Alcohol must be served by a California RBS certified bartender from our approved Vendor List.

    2. All vendors must provide proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance meeting our requirements (see below).

    3. Bartenders must be chosen from Events On Pine's Preferred Vendor List. Any exceptions must be approved by the Venue no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event. 

    4. Generally, alcohol cannot be sold on the premises without an ABC licensed liquor catering service. Otherwise, all bars must be hosted. Inquire for details.

    5. Alcohol cannot be brought or consumed by anyone under the legal drinking age (21) in California.

    6. The bartender must stop serving alcohol one (1) hour prior to the end of the event.

    7. No self-serve alcohol stations allowed unless monitored by certified personnel.

    *Failure to conform to this policy will constitute a breach of contract by the lessee, up to and including cancellation of the event (on the spot) with zero refunds.

    Security services are required for events where alcohol will be served.

    No exceptions!

  • There is a NON REFUNDABLE retainer due at the time of booking to reserved your desired event date. The amount of the retainer depends on the type of event you are having. Your date IS NOT RESERVED until the event contract is signed (both parties) and the deposit is received by EVENTS ON PINE.

    A REFUNDABLE damage deposit is held on the credit card on file in the following amounts:

    — Rental without Alcohol $250

    — Rental with alcohol $500.

    “Day of Event” Insurance is required for all events. It is roughly $60-$150 per event.

  • 1. All contractors, vendors or service providers coming on to EVENTS ON PINE premises to do work or provide services are required to have insurance. Insurance is necessary to cover any claims or losses for which the contractor/vendor may be responsible for.

    2. The MINIMUM insurance standards shall apply to all vendors performing, selling, or distributing products and services at EVENTS ON PINE.

    Commercial General Liability Insurance which may include Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability, Contractual Liability, Product Liability and Complete Operations Liability shall be in an amount not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit, per occurrence, and $2,000,000 aggregate.

    3. Renter(s) agree to purchase “Day of Event” Insurance not less than $100,000 to cover any claims or losses that may arise during the day(s) of the scheduled event. If you prefer to use your company’s insurance, it will need to be submitted fourteen (14) days prior to the event.

    4. All Outside Vendor Liability and Event Insurance Certificates of Insurance (COI) are required to be submitted and approved by EVENTS ON PINE (Owner) no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event.

  • Yes, there is elevator access to the venue as well as accessible restrooms.

  • Events On PIne now offers Validated Parking for guests (fees may apply) with One Valet Parking located outside of the venue on Pine Ave.

    Additional PAID parking is available within walking distance of the venue. Please inquire about recommendations.
